The Sri Neem Karoli Baba Ashram and Hanuman Temple is a place of spiritual refuge for all seekers, regardless of background or belief. All are welcome here! Neem Karoli Baba, also known as Neeb Karori Baba, is lovingly called "Maharaj-ji" by His devotees. A great saint of India, Maharaj-ji often proclaimed, "Sub Ek" - All are One. He taught us to "love everyone, serve everyone, remember God, and to tell the truth." The ashram aims to cultivate a sense of physical and spiritual nourishment to those on a journey towards deeper understanding and connection with the Divine. Maharaj-ji said that God comes to people in the form of food. The ashram serves numerous meals each week, often feeding prasad to upwards of 1,000 people each week. For some in Taos County, where poverty and food insecurity is pronounced, the ashram provides the only hot meals of their diets.

Our beloved Hanuman-ji's serves as an embodied example of unconditional love, devotion, and service, and His presence radiates throughout Maharaj-ji's ashram. Based on a devotee's painting of Hanuman-ji flying towards Lanka with Sri Ram's sacred ring in search of Sri Sita, Taos Hanuman was sculpted by a family of murti makers in Jaipur at the behest of Ram Dass, a beloved disciple of Maharaj-ji. The entire process of bringing the sacred vision of Taos Hanuman-ji to life was imbued with devotion, love and divine energy. Our Hanuman-ji continues to be a beacon of Divine Grace, and is a symbol of Maharaj-ji boundless love and grace, reminding devotees of His eternal presence and of the path of Bhakti Yoga. Taos Hanuman-ji inspires devotees to deepen in devotion, cultivate inner strength, and serve selflessly in the name of love and compassion.
